November 27, 2012 - This is a good cab, but I can't see where the pros got their rating. I say this is a solid basic California style cab. To pick at the wine -- it seems to have a bit of uncontrolled astringence and does not flow together like some of the other similar valued cabs. That said, if someone offers it with a nice steak, I would not have any complaints and enjoy it as a good complement.

June 25, 2012 - Very sweet and hardly any finish at all. Wouldn't be bad as a house wine purchase, but not a selection I'd serve to my guests.

January 27, 2012 - I like mxpbuy's comment - fruit bomb! Sweet (though not cloying) dark fruits, with a rich, almost thick mouthfeel. Not astringent or tanniny at all. Quite mellow in the finish, sadly not all that long either, but it has a lingering dark, rich fruit taste.

December 19, 2011 - Sampled 12/16/11. A simple and very drinkable fruit bomb that fades after mid palate. A wedding wine.

June 23, 2011 - Good. Menthol, eucalyptus, vanilla and cigar smoke on the nose. Dark bramble fruit -- mostly blackberries -- on the palate. Long, lingering finish. All-in-all a nice everyday cab. <Wow/Very Good/Good/Fair/Plonk>

June 20, 2011 - Nose: Plumb, prune, raisin. Basically smelled like musty dried fruit with some menthol. Yuck. Taste: Very pruny, little tannins, black tea. No finish to speak of and unappealing on all fronts.
