July 28, 2016 - From 75cl, perfect cork, with a diamond-shimmering Weinstein crust. All my previous TNs for this wine ring true. This is a wonderful, monumental, stone-hard, salt-tinged, mountain of a Hölle... Barely a hint of Riesling fruit left. I'd drink this sooner rather than later, but it all depends what you like. 91P

December 31, 2015 - Siehe vorherige Notiz. Toller Wein zu Fischgerichten, Rund, harmonisch fruchtig. Zitrone, Limetten und Äpfel.

December 4, 2015 - Lovely, impressive, aromatic nose, with freshness, nuance, typicity and depth; the palate is relatively light and fresh for a Künstler Hölle EG (determined by the vintage), but its energy seems a bit limited and this is refelcted on the relatively slight and short finish. I agree with aquacongas that this is fully mature now - and slightly disappointing apart from the nose.

August 10, 2015 - Drank over 2 days. A little bit disappointed. Typical Rheingau Riesling, some pineapple, topical fruits in nose and palate, medium body and minerality, a bit too one-dimensional in the finish,no change day 2. maybe me at his peak, still joyable over the next 3-4 years, clear fresh acidity, no petrol signs, try the next bottle in 3 years

June 8, 2015 - From 75cl, exquisite cork in perfect condition with a coating of sparkling Weinstein crystals. Fully mature, slowly but surely softening and developing typical older-Riesling notes. Apricot, relatively low acid, salty edge, massive minerality: This wine is gradually turning to stone, well on its way to becoming a monument. 90P
