Community Tasting Notes 4

February 17, 2007 - I think that as the vines that produce the grapes for this wine mature, this will turn into an outstanding wine year after year. This one is quite good, it has a full-bodied texture with lots of dark berry fruit, anise, clove and pepper, but is a little one dimensional...I am going to be keeping an eye on this winery!

November 3, 2006 - Great sour-sweet meat and fruit nose, but a bit oaky-vanilla on the palate with limited length and depth.

September 10, 2006 - Corked, underneath, good fruit, little thin, drink now.

January 19, 2006 - Very interesting. Initial strong, almost astringent taste, but mellows to a smooth finish. Quite complex. Tasted as one of seven reds at a wine tasting. Ranks about sixth.
