October 1, 2021 - Pop and poured, and this is immediately fantastic. Absolutely vibrant and beautiful. No "old" notes at all for this 16 year old Oregon Pinot, but plenty of the vibrant red fruit and mellowed beauty one gets with a well crafted, well aged Pinot Noir. This dials in at 13.8% alcohol, which for Sineann, is kind of low... but Resonance was always their best, most age worthy Pinot. The aromas offer beautiful soil tones and tons of bramble fruits. Those may be the only dominant notes, but they are rich and hugely expressive while maintaining lightness, without any heft. Palate attacks with luscious, natural bramble fruit puree... nothing extracted here, just beautiful, full, natural real berries. Wonderful. Tannins are mostly resolved, but there's no hints of a loss of weight or body... just beautiful acid holding things together. Acid hits on the finish and you are left with more creamy fruit puree. Both of those linger in harmony for a minute. What a wonderful wine... reminds me of what it was like tasting around the Willamette Valley just after the turn of the millennium, before everyone was making extracted bombs of Pinot Noir. I have no qualms waiting 5 years to open my last bottle.

March 12, 2021 - Still drinking surprisingly well. Lots of life for its age.

November 4, 2020 - 15 year-old Oregon Pinot Noir was much better than I expected. Medium/dark ruby with mild aromas of violets and clay / damp earth. Strong flavors of black raspberry and black cherry, although just a bit sweet. This wine had plenty of richness and a tight finish, and it's still very much alive but I wouldn't push it much farther. Glass stopper may have added to the longevity - it was impressive overall.

January 9, 2019 - Good bottle consistency. Very similar to the bottle I tasted in December. The Resonance Pinots from Sineann seem to have matured way better than pinots from sineann’s other vineyards

December 3, 2018 - Tasted on a number of occasions between 2014-17. Been consistently good. Still holding up very well. Plenty of life and energy when first opened. Strong bouquet and decent finish.
