    September 1, 2017 - Drank without decanting.
    Definitely ready to drink now.
Had another bottle 8 months ago, and this bottle was better, but not sure that more aging would be worthwhile.
Certainly has that Stags Leap character that makes the finish distinctly different than other Napa regions.

July 26, 2017 - Deep ruby red. Tight as well on the nose like the 2012, but not as dark. Dirty on the attack of the nose with sweet spices, a touch of dark berries, and woody. Well integrated medium tannins (6.5/10) with a medium to medium plus body. Smoky palate with plums, woody notes, gravel, and a touch of blue fruit. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2019.

July 26, 2017 - Lightly dirty nose with hints of dark berry and some wood bark.

A drinkable integrated Napa wine that is not overly extracted nor over the top tannins. It seems to be drinking well now and I would not leave it too long.

June 3, 2017 - I think the last bottle was the best. Very smooth and balanced wine. Cherries, and mangos on the nose with good minerality and a smooth finish. Was better at first opening than later. I didn't decant and wouldn't recommend it for this wine.
