March 18, 2022 - Definite signs of oxidation on the nose, fruit has all but disappeared, colour is medium gold. Not completely gone on the palate but not much to recomend it.
September 20, 2019 - Oxidized
January 24, 2017 - Consistent notes with my last bottle, not a surprise given that I drank that one less than 30 days ago. Not oxidized, and certainly no buttered popcorn. However, I lowered the score a bit because it didn't sing to me quite so much.
December 25, 2016 - Not sure I had the same wine as the other recent reviewers! This was delicate, with white fruit, citrus, spice, and mineral all on a light frame. Reminded me of why I love white burg.
December 13, 2016 - Extremely advanced for a 2008. I couldn't finish my glass.
March 6, 2015 - flawed
March 7, 2014 - Popcorn, butter, nuts. Heavy on the palate and could use some extra freshness. Full bodied that's true...
February 14, 2014 - There are things to like in this wine, but for starters it very much lacks Meursault typicity - oatmealy, anise notes dominate on the nose and the mealyness along with a dry honey note carries through on entry, but what then emerges is a nicely rich and long finish with maybe a pineapple note throughout. Color looks quite young and the wine still has an acid backbone, but I haven't a clue where it is going. Not remotely in the first rank of 2008 Meursault Perrieres, but a good drink nonetheless.
August 17, 2013 - Tasted blind in a large flight of domestic and French Chards. Easily picked out as a White Burgundy, this wine showed a nice golden hue, clear, almost vibrant. A little muted on the nose, with notes of candied apple and spice. Light to medium in body, with a clean finish.
April 5, 2013 - Good but already fading and showing signs of advancement. YAY WHITE BURGUNDY!!
