December 19, 2022 - A monster wine that harkens back to the days when so much of Spain and especially Priorat and more broadly Montsant was so heavily Parkerized. Nose of Kirsch and oak induced mint. Very rich mid palate, like an Amarone without the raison. Hot, oaked finish with some licorice. Loads of unfiltered sediment. Not my style, but also not bad for what it is.

July 10, 2018 - Opened up nicely and quickly. Drinking partners say it is peppery and delicious. No complaints at all. All loved it. It is a tad heavy in spite of its age. Good though. Wish I had more.

February 2, 2017 - Powerful, spice, plum compote and Kirsch scent. Rich, chewy, ripe blackberry, spice, rhubarb and tobacco flavor with grippy tannins and a long finish.
