January 2, 2017 - beautiful wine, opened up quick in decanter. Fragrant nose, well integrated, softer, medium long finish. Great spot right now. WOTN compared to 2007 DeLille Grand Ciel1 person found this helpful Comment

July 8, 2016 - First whiff and I got some oak, very dark fruit and a little tobacco. An hour open and this actually became eerily reminiscent of a recently tasted 1988 Leoville Les Cases on the nose with some cedar, cassis, very pronounced tobacco, green pepper, and some savory, salty minerality thing going on which reminds me of top-notch Bordeaux. Lots of tobacco, some green notes which I liked a lot. This is really good, though it lacks the finish to push it to the next level. For $80 this was actually a great value and right in line with classified growth Bordeaux.

September 5, 2015 - Taste at TETE.
A bit underwhelming.
Pretty and supply. Lots of spice and menthol as well as pine.
Fresh and big mid palate.
Fleshy and still coming across as very young.

July 23, 2015 - Deep purple color. Alluring...no, Compelling aromatics that were typical of why/what I've always loved about WA meritage blends. Velvety texture. This reinforced my recent revelation of the similarities between WA and Bolgheri Bordeaux blends - dusty, mineral-tinged, chocolate dusted dark red fruits. Though I've grown averse to most Cabs/Cab blends, I still really enjoy these; particularly with some age on them. Others in this forum accurately characterized this as drinking perfectly and I'd have to agree! My only criticism would be the price point. In fact, if half...or even 70% of the price, it would be both a veritable QPR, as well as have garnered another couple points.

July 16, 2015 - Really good wine. Haven't had a lot of the top end Walla Walla wines. This one was superb. Great aroma, nice balance and a wonderful finish!
