April 21, 2024 - Sep 2019 Disgorgement, a fine bottle which is at a good place for current consumption. The style of the wines from this house has gotten more precise over the years which is also reflected in this base NV. More cut and structure and a little dryer and while this bottle had the advantage of a few extra years of cellar time I would recommend that this is one to drink before it gets too advanced. That said there is no particular rush as bottles of this disgorgement date should be in prime shape for another 2-3 years especially if you like your bubbles with a little rounding off due to aging. Solid grower juice.

January 21, 2024 - Inga noter. Men den pÄtagliga brödigheten har definitivt slipats av. I bra balans. Mycket bra.

Gorgeous! What a pleasant and interesting Champagne. Lovely mousse, long, delicate but strong palate. At once open but focussed Big hit!

    Disgorgement 4/19/22.

    December 24, 2022 - Christmas eve bottle.
Very good with the cold starters tonight.
Apples, orchard fruit, lemons, still quite autolytic.
    Good acidity and lift.

June 27, 2022 - This is the latest version of this wine. There is no degorgement information. Clear medium light yellow with huge mousse. Very approachable nose, green apple, lemon, yeast and pastry. Delicious and dry flavours and finish.

April 24, 2022 - My last bottle of the June 2011 disgorgement. It was "misplaced" for a bit, so that I thought it was gone. Glad it was still there! It's certainly mature, and for some no doubt overly mature, but I love the nutty caramelly character, and it's still vibrant. Salty finish, and lingering nut/apple skin notes. Delicious.
