December 31, 2023 - Didn't catch the disgorgement, but it was purchased in 2019, so this had plenty of time to develop, yet was quite fruity and mineral, and I would have thought it was more recently disgorged. Something ethereal and earthy here, I swear it had a saffron note, but we were eating saffron rice... Really cool stuff, in any case, intensely mineral, a little brothy, something like lobster bisque, beautiful black and red fruit, lots of citrus, subtle herbal and leafy tones too... Long fruity and earthy finish, that saffron thing really lingered, and I would swear it was independent of the rice... can't be sure but even 45 minutes after the rice it was showing this intriguing earthy/stony/floral saffron-like thing... Loved it. Wish I could drink this all the time!

December 2, 2023 - Delicate and elegant rose with unique coppery colour, made from a blend of 55% Chardonnay and rose de saignee of PM, aged on its lees for 3+ years, 7 g/l of RS. Medium copper colour. Medium intensity aroma of dried strawberries, dry raspberries, hints of pink grapefruit and roses. Medium body, fine persistent mousse, velvety and vinous, slightly creamy but braced with freshness and red berry fruitiness, touch of spices, concludes with soft medium+ acidity.

August 25, 2023 - Excellent aroma - clearly Chardonnay dominant with lots of yeast and brioche. Linear citrus flavor followed by a fruity red cherry and strawberry finish. Refined with a rustic edge. Very dry. Good, but kind of simple and linear.

August 25, 2023 - Barolo Dinner (Mathilde Bistro - SF): Aromas of strawberry and flowers. Super young, but elegant and delicate on the attack, showing a bit more breadth on the back, with a savory bit of chalk. Better on the nose than on the slightly dilute - or maybe it's just tight. A bit underwhelming for Peters... or maybe it just needs a couple years sideways.

August 25, 2023 - Barolo Dinner (Mathilde, San Francisco): Aromatic, strawberry; cold but limited nose; palate is medium bodied, well balanced, some dosage; medium finish. Good, expensive though.

August 2, 2023 - Chicsucre’s note is spot on. All I can add is how dry the wine was. I would not have guessed a brut level champgne. Quite refreshing though, and I think would be a great food wine.

June 22, 2023 - Bright transparent blood range color
On the nose blood orange, strawberry, raspberey
    On the palate, + hawthorn
    Fine bubbles, chalky
    Med finish
    Very enjoyable

The Meunier / Chardonnay mix achieves an awesome balance of richness and lightness. Very cool.

    January 19, 2023 - Released December 2022 in Texas

rich orange and pink color, plush nose of creamy strawberries, cherries, light and lean cream, on the palate very zesty and lively with a perky strawberry note on the broad midpalate coating a serious structure, stone notes, fine length, great now but holding it a few years could bring additional delights.

    ****, now to 2030+
