February 1, 2011 - This wine had a slightly brownish tinge upon opening. It looked thin upon pouring and it was not strong on the nose. Overall, it gave me the impression of a wine just beyond its prime. I was surprised at how good it was in the mouth. It had character, body and was very smooth. It was not at its peak, but very solid. I really enjoyed this bottle and wish I had more.
