    May 26, 2013 - On the nose there's black liquorice, blackberry, rootbeer, black plum jam & an oxidative note ~ On the palate it's big & round with plenty of life still in it & flavours of herbal liqueur, tarragon, black cherry, smoke & caramel ~ Interesting, balanced & great length

    February 1, 2011 - Opened and let breathe for an hour. Aroma definitely improved, deep purple color. Mostly blackberry on the palate with a loooong finish. Good purchase for the price. Will buy again whenever i come across it again.

    November 21, 2010 - Almost purple in colour veery spicy nose. Reminds me of wines from Southern Italy with rustic, stewed fruit, earthy notes. Lots of black pepper too. Fair amount of acid and tannin. Decent value. Best with food.

    October 14, 2010 - Very dark, almost black color. Nose of blackberries and baking spices that got a bit raisiny with air. Pretty good concentration of fruit on the palate, not overly oaky, a little heat but not too much. A decent fruit-forward wine.

    September 30, 2010 - Delicious wine. Cigar, spice, dark berries. Very smooth with layers of complexity. Paired wonderfully with a spicy marinara sauce.
