July 14, 2017 - Ib&Pia in Kandestederne (Kandestederne): From MG; tasted over three days, virtually unchanged. Extremely mineral, elegant, en danseuse, light, clean with emphasis on citrus, hints of chalkiness and very good depth and length. Much too young, especially from this format. #Kandestederne #Ib&Pia

June 25, 2017 - Last night in Hawaii -- managed to find this on the list for a modest (for Hawaii) 2x markup. Still a baby, but with some time in the glass it unfolded really nicely. Long finish. A little oaky at this stage. Wish I had some in my cellar -- would probably grab one in 5 years to see how it is coming along.

June 12, 2017 - More advanced than the ’08 with a gentle nuttiness evident on the nose. There are exotic fruits and a spine of chalky acidity. You get some preserved lemon flavour and length is admirable.

April 27, 2017 - Miscellaneous Wines from a France Trip-Burgundy, Alsace, and Paris; 4/20/2017-4/29/2017: Light yellow. Classic lactic, orange aromatics. Medium weight, clay feel. Beautiful interplay of citrus and creamier elements. Outstanding acidity and even a squirt of quininine at the end. Supremely elegant if not profound.

April 1, 2017 - Exotic, expressive nose with a tight, compact palate. There are notes of toast, fig, white peach and honeysuckle. The finish is loaded with dry extract.
