December 26, 2023 - Dark, inky hue. Full-bodied, dark fruit, spicy, chocolate, oaky. Lost the cork. Decanted. Velvety and smooth with long finish.
December 28, 2022 - Ripe with good concentration, but acid minus and prominent oak.
October 16, 2021 - Consistent with my August note. This bottle best on day 2.
August 4, 2021 - 97% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc. 14.5% abv. On day 1 had this as a pop and pour. Wow. Really held up well. Ripe extracted fruit. Sour cherry and cedar notes. Dense. Not overly acidic. A juicy finish.... Best on day 1.
November 4, 2020 - Full bodied, very fruit forward, blueberry, blackberries. As a lover of big calicabs, this hit the spot. Enjoyed over two days and didn’t notice a difference.
October 11, 2020 - It’s been three years since my prior bottle of this particular wine and vintage.
Still very nice.
Color of very dark red. Scents of primary red fruit and berries. Tastes of red fruits and berries with some mellow well integrated tannins.
August 30, 2020 - Dark purple, some fading near the rim. Still rich, opulent and elegant. Retained its freshness over about two hours. Pretty certain that this vintage is unlikely to improve from here, but probably has 2 to 3 years before slippage.
June 6, 2020 - Wow wow wow. Really nice calssic aged Cabernet. Peppery spice notes, bright red fruits. Forever finish. Lots of room to do. Delicious.
August 12, 2019 - - Full body. Fleshy texture with a medium finish - Great. An. Decanted for 2 hours. Was delicious. High fruit content with bright notes still.
June 30, 2019 - Medium ruby, sweet fruit with nice finish with a little heat showing through.
