April 21, 2014 - Medium-gold in color, this version of the Cuvée Cathleen is far more New World in style than its 2008 brethren. It offers intense aromas of white peaches, honey, nectarine and fig. Medium-to-full-bodied on the palate, it presents similar ripe flavors in a frame of low-to-medium acidity. The oak and alcohol are nicely integrated and the middle palate is solid. Long and luscious on the finish, it is simply a joy to drink! Well-cellared bottles should be at their best over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2017.

March 15, 2014 - LEMON, VANILLA, AND MELONS IN THE NOSE AND FLAVOR. PERFECT PAIRING WITH GRILLED SHRIMP, NICE COMPLEXITY AND ACIDITY AND A LONG LINGERING FINISH. 2ND TSTG: PEARS AND FIGS IN THE FLAVOR

March 10, 2013 - Big disappointment like all the Kistler 2007s'. Barely drinkable. Color like apple cider. Does not hold a candle to Aubert, Peter Michael Kongsgaard or Paul Hobbs.
