December 25, 2008 - Xmas eve dinner with Valerie and Megan. This was nice a refreshing after a big meal. Not to much sugar and not to sweet a great buy for the price and we were able to have more than one glass. I don't usually drink late harvest zins but this one is worth buying.

December 19, 2005 - This is good. My impression is very different after having has so many other LH Zins. This is lighter and more acidic than most of the LH Zins we've liked, with only 8% sugar. I'ts refreshing rather than dark and mouth staining. Good, though.

April 5, 2005 - Never having had a wine like this before it's hard to rate. I very much enjoyed the bottle, as did Jen and Nicole. Tasted best moderately chilled. No taste of alcohol. Very smooth, sweet without being at all cloying. Well balanced. Red berries and maybe grape flavor. Shortish finish. I need to pay closer attention next time, I was playing chess while drinking this. Went *very* well with chocolate. Reminded me just a bit of the Jackson-Triggs Merlot Ice Wine.
