November 9, 2017 - Wonderful fruit-forward Pinot nine years old. Wish we had bought more of it.

August 30, 2013 - Great Pinot nose. Fruit (cherries and raspberries) and smooth tannins. Excellent balance in the wine. At its peak- drink now.

January 13, 2013 - Poured through Vinturi. Nose of cherry and pomegranate. Flavors lean strongly toward the cherry but the pomegranate is there as well as a bit of cranberry. Good acidity, nicely oaked (not overly IMHO). Quite enjoyable on its own.

August 11, 2012 - Not as good as it was a year or two ago, but a decent Pinot for the price. Basic fruit, earth, and spice notes. Wouldn't hold for much longer. PJP 2012.

May 31, 2012 - Still has the fruit to carry it through the meal. Vanilla and raspberries pair well with tuna

May 23, 2012 - Poured through Vinturi. All black cherry and oak, but enjoyable for that. As with previous bottles, lower acidity than might be ideal but enough to give a bit of a lift in the mid palate. Drink soon.

August 25, 2011 - This was more like it! The pairing makes all the difference. A jammy, sweet fruit bomb with salmon, this was much better with spicy pork spareribs with sweet mesquite BBQ sauce. The fat in the meat minimized the jamminess and sweetness in this pinot noir, rendering it with more structure and complexity. My wife was frankly surprised by how good this pairing was.

August 20, 2011 - A bit of a fruit bomb. I almost feel sugar was added. Still, pretty lively and exciting in it's own way. If one is looking for refinement and subtlety, one must look elsewhere.
