January 1, 2024 - Still drinking well but has flattened a bit since my last bottle two years ago. While tasting like a typical aged amarone was a bit heavier and more one dimensional

December 17, 2023 - Hazy dark mahogany in color. Gorgeous aromas of mulling spices, medicinal dark reddish black fruits that turn to soy and pipe tobacco. Full-bodied palate shows sweet stewed and jammy prunes, black cherries, medium(+) acidity, no tannins and a savory finish with balsamic and fruit leather tones on the finish.

June 20, 2023 - Fabulous, decanted only for sediments and consumed immediately. Barely sweet if at all. At a great place right now. Almost chestnut like, due to a mix of raisins and forest floor (or maybe just association with fall smells). Delicious

January 19, 2023 - Raisins, leather and dark chocolate. Lots of fruit left and a prominent sweetness. Tannins and acidity are still going strong. Best day 2. Will hold for antother decade without problems. Possibly another point or two then.

December 29, 2021 - Drinking beautifully in this moment. Still has life left but probably not improving further.

June 25, 2021 - Tawny color indicative of age. Stewed plums, raisiny, nose and palate. Complex but past its prime.

February 14, 2021 - Valentines Day paired with meatloaf. Opened up after about 90 minutes and was improving until the bottle was gone!

November 29, 2020 - Took a little while to open up, drank at woodlands with Steve. Very resolved and not overtly raisiny. Great wine.
