  February 24, 2024 - Have been holding this in the cellar mostly because was my oldest QC vintage. Didn’t really have high expectations given the age. Beautiful nose, cherry pipe tobacco, musty earth. On palette surprisingly big. Lots of cherry notes, cassis, green pepper. Good finish. Pretty amazing for a 36 year old Washington Cab. Guessing not many of these left in cellars but if so drink up!!

  February 23, 2018 - Brown rim and dark saturated color. Cork in pristine condition. Good flavor intensity and still very fresh and alive. Secondary Cabernet notes with some mushroom and green pepper. Fine grained tannins. It lacks a bit in complexity and length but it’s a very enjoyable wine at age 30.
