September 23, 2022 - At pop n pour, a little savory and wooly to the nose. A little shy. Underlying apricot aromas. Acid is high, but the sugar is higher. Honeycomb. Wholly fresh and I’ll try and hold a bottle or two for our 50th. Dare I say that this wine will win that race?

January 6, 2019 - Winorama: A winter in Wineland III; 1/4/2019-1/13/2019 (Portland/Willamette, Eureka, Napa): Great way to end the tasting with a bit of sweet and these are generally pretty lovely. You can taste the age here, but it's still nice and sweet and well put together. Some vanilla and oat flavors. Good.

November 10, 2018 - Guldgul färg, en viss ålder på färgen

    Apelsin, saffran, botrytis, pomerans

Söt, rund i munnen, medium+ längd, fortsatt rätt bra syra i munnen

Saknar komplexitet för att generera några stordåd den här kvällen.

March 24, 2018 - BYOB with wines 30+ years (Sollentuna): Wet wool underpants, something not entirely clean on the fruit. Mute nose, but great acidity and balance. Odd but really nice I'd say. My wine.

July 14, 2016 - In beautiful condition, with a shimmering yellow gold color suggesting a wine two decades younger. Lovely mature Chenin nose, with honeyed orchard fruit, and lanolin and very little botrytis to speak of. Almost shockingly fresh on the palate, with the initial unctuous sweetness swept aside with bracing acids on the long finish. A pleasure now, but with decades of good drinking ahead of it.
