September 27, 2020 - Really nice sweet to acid balance for a desert wine. Opened up as the wine warmed up. Notes of honeysuckle and crème brûlée.

September 13, 2017 - Shows gorgeous dried apricot, lime, marmalade, creme brulee, sweet yellow peach, wildflower honey, ginger spice, beautiful balanced sweetness, coppery minerality, mouthwatering acidity, and an incredibly long finish. An absolute treat to drink.

January 6, 2016 - Delicious. Wonderful succulent nose of apricot and marmalade. Firmly sweet but not cloying. Long finish+

July 14, 2014 - This was really in great form last evening providing a fitting end to a great meal of fresh garden veggies and fresh caught salmon and halibut. Sweet but not cloying. Happy to have one more bottle.

August 19, 2013 - Rotating Dinner Series- Kangaroo Dinner (Frontier, Chicago IL): Nose: The nose has a very succulent side to it with sweet peaches, white fruits, nectarines, and apricots. It is lacking some of the spice and lychees that I normally expect from gewurztraminer, but the nose is still very attractive.

Taste: Fuller bodied with lower acidity. It's not flabby as it relies more on the sweetness with sweet peaches, nectarines, apricots, and some white florals.

Overall: This was at the end of a long night, and it provided a good capper.

October 24, 2011 - Wonderfully sweet, dense, tropical and viscous yet not too syrupy. Drinking very well right now. Beautiful golden hue.
