  April 25, 2021 - Tale of two nights. First night the wine still had some primal qualities, red/blue fruit mix and some residue of the original barrel time, but really woven together pretty well. On the second night, the fruit fades and the tertiary flavors take over, so wet leaves come to the forefront. An interesting bottle over two days.

  June 16, 2016 - Great Crianza, fully mature. The nose is a bit subdued, showing faint red berry, vanilla, and spice. The pallette shows more, with bright cherry fruit mixed with cranberry and pomegranate. There is some earthy spice folding in as well, but not much else. Good acidity keeps it fresh with tannins integrated and finishing slightly dry. Good stuff, drink now and over the next few years, probably won't get better.
