December 3, 2014 - Our second bottle, first tasted in 2010 and did not enter a tasting note. Beautiful. Dark amber golden color. Cloudy, as if unfiltered. No sediment. No flaws. Mild rim variation. Complex nose and flavors. No tannin. No acid. Medium alcohol and medium finish. Perfectly drinkable. Deserves its WS rating which I have chosen as well.

November 26, 2014 - Taking on weight and additional flavor characteristics. Aubert only gets better with age. An absolutely outstanding wine. The Ritchie wines are mineral driven but this one has a great balance of fruit and depth, a bit better than the 2005 and 2006, which were more weighted to minerals. Still on the upswing. Hold on and it will get better.

November 9, 2014 - From magnum. Very tropical nose dominated by pineapple. Rich and round in the mouth.

September 19, 2014 - Popped and poured on Friday night but no one wanted white wine, so recorked, brought home, put in the refrgerator, and ten forgotten until Tuesday.

Friday - Creamy, white fruit, chardonnay grape, excellent depth and breadth on the tongue, whith a bit of citrus.

Tuesday - Floral nose. Seems more acidic with higher citrus component and some light tart apple. a tiny bit of buttered popcorn. Ritchie always seems to have a higher degree of minerality than other Aubert chardonnays and that's here. A bit of oak on the back end but it resolved a bit compared to when it first opened. Not a fruit driven wine. Long finish.
