June 17, 2017 - Paired it with red snapper collars. It was dense and with a great presence. As expected, some if the aromas were dominated by toasted coconut with citrus and baked apples. Awesome wine!

June 10, 2017 - Terrific stuff. Fascinating and complex flavors of nectarine, flowers, crushed rocks. Beautiful nose, full bodied, fleshy mid palate, lovely finish. This is at its peak.

June 9, 2017 - Chicago Wine Flock...Ken Goes Cult Cab (Chez Kailin - Northbrook IL): Tasted double blind in what turned out to be an Aubert Ritchie flight. Very mature apple and peach with intense concentration, but lacking energy.

March 25, 2017 - Jack is Back in Town (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)) Clean invigorating nose some oak but not buttery (nor on palate). Mellow oak follows on the palate with lovely white and slightly citrusy fruit (peach and red apples?). Lovely wine to drink by itself.

March 25, 2017 - Jack is Back in Town (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Light-medium gold color. PNP, drank 1+ glass over an hour. Oh this is good, wonderful nose, very complex with white fruits, white flowers, bright, earthy with a sauvage like character, ginger, shitake mushroom. The palate is very elegant and has excellent depth with balanced even handed approach. This is fresh and bright with outstanding acid framing the tangy pear and spices. Drinking extremely well presently. Really good, runaway WOTN. 94+pts.
