March 25, 2017 - Jack is Back in Town (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Light-medium gold color. PNP, drank 1+ glass over an hour. Oh this is good, wonderful nose, very complex with white fruits, white flowers, bright, earthy with a sauvage like character, ginger, shitake mushroom. The palate is very elegant and has excellent depth with balanced even handed approach. This is fresh and bright with outstanding acid framing the tangy pear and spices. Drinking extremely well presently. Really good, runaway WOTN. 94+pts.

January 27, 2017 - This was odd. Seemed a little oxidized at first. Fruit was muted but as it took on air, it became a bit more expressive. Bottle stored perfectly since release so it was not conditions. Usually a terrific wine, so we'll chalk this one up to a bit of bottle variation.

January 14, 2017 - Big flavor. Pear and creme Brûlée with a finish that goes on for awhile. There is some citrus wrapped in there as well. A lot packed in here, a concentrated big wine.
As I have noted often giving this some time to open either via a quick decant or extended time in glass as well as proper temperature is critical. If served too cold it will be overly bright and even a touch metallic. But at a slight chill (~55 degrees) everything really comes together.

December 19, 2016 - Med lemon gold color with vanilla and pineapple aromas. The palate was butterscotch candy with vanilla and acid on the finish. While good this was way too alcoholic and thus out of balance.
