August 24, 2022 - Past it’s prime. Still ok.
February 5, 2022 - Not what I was expecting based on the previous bottles. Aromas: cranberry, strawberry, tobacco, cinnamon. Palate: cranberry, strawberry, some earthy tones, vanilla, cocoa, cinnamon. Smooth, easy to drink, full body, great pinot.
July 14, 2021 - Continues to develop beautifully. Primary aromas: balsamic, salty meat, mushrooms, leather, ripe black currant. Meat stew, sage. It’s velvety, smooth, mainly earthy at this point with subtle plum.
February 27, 2021 - Strong showing. Good on its own or with food.
December 24, 2020 - Earthy, more toned down from the last bottle I had. The acidity is present on the palate, plums, mushrooms, velvet tannins.
August 26, 2020 - Robust, fruity, good with food. Not a typical Pinot.
August 8, 2020 - Bought on Vivino sale. I think they emptied the cellar of this vintage because it’s not getting better and the corks are failing. Anyway, I found after a 90 minute decant this is one of the better pinots I’ve ever had.
August 5, 2020 - Musty cooking spices, earthy, and mushrooms on the nose. Full body, not much fruit taste, maybe mellow plum- just a touch of acidity. Thick and velvety.
December 14, 2013 - Full of dark plum fruit. Very good.
February 3, 2013 - Served alongside the LWC 2010 Aubaine, this was the more precise elegant offering that showed a cold steely edge. Drying dusty tannins detracted a bit from the cherry, red raspberry, strawberry fruits. Medium finish.
