March 11, 2014 - Amazingly still good! Maybe even deserves a few more points. We'll find out next bottle.
March 2, 2014 - This seems to be still be holding up well, and I hold to my earlier notes; bright berries and spice with decent acidity, nice color consistent to the varietal, and a nose consistent with the experience of the palate. Overall I find this is to be a wine I would serve to a friend with never a worry to be embarrassed. My rating might be generous but I have a glass and a half in me now, I am in good spirit, and I've no mind to change. Cheers to you Dan Tudor, job well done.
December 8, 2012 - Strawberries on the nose. Light, but earthy.
November 21, 2012 - I liked this very much. Bright red berries on the nose and to the immediate palate. This followed with a pleasant earthiness and subtle spice on the mid palate and finish. Somewhat thin in both color and body, but not unduly so or in any way inconsistent of the varietal. This bottle held up well overnight and was as enjoyable on day two as day one. High marks for a good wine and I am looking forward to the next bottle to mark consistency.
October 25, 2012 - Still getting better and better. Nice!
October 22, 2012 - Still good, though getting to its late midpoint. Love that earthy mushroom too, but it's not multidimensional. Very good second label from Dan Tudor.
October 14, 2012 - Like medicine. Undrinkable
October 7, 2012 - Not particularly complex but pretty enjoyable. Bright cherry at first, little time helped it open and brought out more mushroom and earth. Nice mouth feel.
July 20, 2012 - Light in color. Hints of strawberries.
June 18, 2012 - Big, bold, No. Cali. yeasty nose. Nice balanced acid and smooth mouthfeel. Jolly rancher mouth with lingering raspberries on the finish. It's no Burgundy, but damn fine backyard Pinot Noir.
