September 26, 2019 - served at 60F. brilliant rusty orange color. took on cloudiness with more time open. nose with sweet apricot, tangerine peel, mint, and tobacco. palate medium bodied with medium acidity. soft dried fruit and leather flavors with a dry, savory character. faint tannin remains, finishes long. in a good place.

May 6, 2017 - rust colored and cloudy. smells like orange zest, plus a little hint of cheese funk. piercing bright acidity. drinks like a sour ale. melon rind flavors unfurl around the edges and lead back to the middle of the tongue with a distinctive nuttiness. truly in left field.

September 19, 2015 - Some of these orange wines age badly - I've found that with some of the Gravners. Not this guy. Stone and orange and tastes like a red - yes it has tannins. As such a good wine for if you are in the mood to think about it. Very warming and a finish that really doesn't quit. As in I went to bed with it. Amazing

February 21, 2012 - Murky brown or copper orange if you want to be nice. Stone and oranges on the nose. More orange, metal, almond and a warm fullness. Deliicious. Compare this to the Gravner wines. More available and balanced. Long finish. One of those wines, you can sip and think, sip and think.

November 8, 2011 - The 2004 Oslavje from Radikon is absolutely divine. As I swirl the glass the wine appears viscous with a striking color of autumn leaves or perhaps the juice that runs from a baked yam. The usual white wine descriptors like pit fruit don't apply here. I get a Rayas-like pine resin on the nose along with exotic herbs. The balance in the mouth is perfect. I awoke the next morning with the finish persisting in my mind and a strong desire for another glass with my eggs at breakfast, but there was none left. This redefines my notion of great wine. Stellar.
