December 10, 2016 - This wine was fantastic right out of the bottle. Obviously some age, but full of gorgeous sweet candied fruit. I expected it to be good but not that good. Not sure if it's going to improve from here, but it's in a great place now.

November 13, 2016 - Double Blind 1990 Bordeaux with a Big Infusion of Show Stealing Old Napa (Jason and Tracy's, Mpls, MN): Very dark red color. PNP, drank 1 glass blind (initially) over an hour. Wow, really nice nose, everything in its place, well integrated, and seamless, plum, cassis, horse barn, earth, pencil, pomegranate, cherry and a long finish. This was lovely, wine of the flight.

November 12, 2016 - Absolutely stunning. Still has time, decanted and after only an hour it had opened up in an amazing way. Lots of structure with tannin, damp earth - really can experience the 'terroir'.

November 5, 2016 - Mostly Older Bordeaux: Incredible, spice, rich plummy fruit but carried with great class, with ample but supple tannin lurking below. The best 1990 Right Banks are so exotic and beautiful but still subtle and balanced, the proverbial steel fist in a velvet glove wrapped in a silk handkerchief, and this is one of the best

October 1, 2016 - No formal notes taken. Consistent with previous bottles. Still drinking extremely well.
