April 20, 2015 - Nose heavily berries. Smooth and cherry aftertaste on the palate. Good by itself and with food.
March 31, 2014 - Nice nose of plum and blueberry. On the palate there is not a lot of fruit left, so I think that I left this a little too long. Earthy, and still somewhat tannic. This is not a wine to drink on its own, but shows the power of food pairings. I didn't like it much by itself, but when I continued drinking it with lasagna and a truffle Mac and cheese, it paired fairly nicely.
April 15, 2012 - Nice spring wine. Light fruit aromas; plum apricot blueberry.
October 26, 2010 - Aromas of plum, flint, and forest floor on the nose. Cherry on the palate. Firm acidity and light tannins. Spicy pepper on the finish.
June 15, 2010 - Like stick wine
February 17, 2010 - Light red wine, not too much oak or fruit. Soft on the palate, with some earthy flavors.
