November 10, 2023 - Surprisingly enjoyable! Perfectly well aged with minimal sediment. Cork was a bit dry but the vino was a bit juicy with delightful floral bouquet. Napa CAB always delivers!
January 7, 2023 - From a magnum. One-hour decant through a screened and aerating funnel. Some red fruit during decant. Bright ruby with a hint of amber on the rim. Wine was clear. After resting, nose of wild berries. In the mouth: plums and cedar with tobacco on the finish.
September 30, 2021 - This bottle is gone. Past mature.
February 12, 2021 - Great color and nose. Well balanced and could easily go a couple more years.
January 1, 2021 - PnP. Opens up nicely over the course of a couple of hours. A well-aged cab at this time. Initial notes of sweet cherry and black tea gradually blend harmoniously in the glass. Mellowed black currant, spice, prune and mushroom flavors. Quite enjoyable!
November 12, 2018 - Drinking with Indian food the lamb pairs well.
June 9, 2018 - The wine has medium acidity. The wine finishes medium. The wine looks inky colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. The wine has polished texture.
October 22, 2017 - Pleasant but nothing special. A bit light bodied for a Napa cab. Hoping for more out of this vintage.
September 2, 2017 - PnD let air for two hours. Consistent with previous notes. Opened up a lot over the course of dinner. Some of its subtlety and finesse may have been missed as the night got late.
May 7, 2017 - Tight when first opened, but bloomed pretty quickly. Not a big cab, but enjoyable at this point.
