    Glass: Spiegelau Definition Bordeaux
Tasted double blind. 2020 late release. Cool, elegant, very fine, precise. Got better every minute. Finish was very long and fine, but not as multi layered as expected. Great experience, thank you, Sensei.

November 25, 2023 - Somber and dark on the glass, on the nose, and on the palate, why is Comte de Vogue Musigny always missing Musigny's majesty and magic ? This is for sure a great wine from a great terroir, but still very tight and backward, not giving in at all. Should be cellared for many years.

September 20, 2023 - Comte de Vogue Tasting with Jean Luc Pepin (London, 19 September 2023): Very similar to the Amoureuse of the same vintage served just before it if a little more mineral and structure to last the long haul. Where the Amoureuse ‘08 was in a saucier mode already with more flashy fruit the Musigny ‘08 is just beginning to tease her wares. 94

August 19, 2023 - Pale garnet with a slight violet hue. Lovely floral aromas, with savoury spices, and a rather linear mineral rocky character. Lively acids, and very light and linear, even with the slight white smoky characters, full of minerals and even a hint of blood iron, floral, medium ripe cherry and cranberry, then again the roay and hibiscus florals. Really great length, with waves of florals, minerals, and tart fruits taking over. Fabulous!

July 27, 2023 - This took over 1.5 hours to really
Show itself but kept getting better. Delicious moose! Very precise, yet rustic wine. I got unripe strawberries On the palate

March 24, 2023 - I have had variable experiences with DV Grand Cru’s but this wine was simply sensational.

Beautiful fruit, elegant and silky on the palate. Long aftertaste. Perfect balance. Such purity.

Although this will last for decades and the tertiary character will develop more, I am very happy to drink it now

October 3, 2022 - Very good fruit, cherries and blueberry, impressively fresh for the vintage relative to what most of the rest of them are showing right now. The structure is either buried or resolved - it's pretty slick and easy to drink. But it's short on personality. From Musigny I want more character and finesse & this wasn't notable for either.

December 11, 2021 - 00001. Fresher (less Vogue tomato) than 05 tasted the day before, citrus acidity, lively. 94

July 16, 2021 - Night and day from the Gevreys. This was beautiful red berries - strawberry, cranberry, and raspberry mixed with sour red cherries. Initially probably the back of the pack vs the lineup, and while the palate was 'good', but didn't show the complexity. With 5+ hours of air, it really unfurled, and the nose became incredibly intense and pretty, with lengthy finish.

June 18, 2021 - Thanks Louis bringing this wine to the dinner. Opened and left in bottle for 1.5 hours before serving. A wonderful Musigny in noble ruby color, floral nose and silky smooth palate and mouthful feel, long after taste. However, This vintage was a little shy in this moment.
