  May 31, 2012 - From memory. Somewhat cloudy deep gold, with little (presumably harmless) white flakes floating around. Muted spice and white fruit nose, savory apple juice and broth palate, tarter and more typical PG finish. Relatively full-bodied and clean despite appearances, I take this as very ripe but not late, and vinified dry; better on second day.

  November 5, 2011 - Threw a lot of sediment. Handle with care. Nice peachy color. Good acidity. Flavor reminded me of Asian pear. Very enjoyable.

  October 6, 2010 - Initial taste impression dominated by strong acidity and minerality - not typical for Pinot Gris in my experience. The salmon color was wonderful - not quite a rose, but definitely carrying a peachy tint. After 20 minutes or so the varietal profile came through on the palate, much fruitier, but not losing the acidic structure to keep it very food friendly. This is NOT a typical Pinot Gris, and it's a very interesting wine - memorable and fun to drink and share.
