Community Tasting Notes 13
July 19, 2013 - And oddly disappointing bottle of Dujac CM. Acidic notes were shrill and tunneled through the whole and the body couldn't carry it. Probably the first time ever we didn't finish a bottle of Dujac.

June 20, 2013 - This is the best Villages wine I've had. Airy strawberry and rose nose. Airy cherry palate with a medium plus finish. All silk from front to finish. This has the much talked about and seldom seen "intensity without weight." This absolutely vanished. Stunning.
March 18, 2013 - More tart and acidic than I remembered, but still elegant and delicious.
July 5, 2012 - Completely closed showing only alcohol & oak. Needs plenty of cellar time. Drunk next to an '08 Mugnier C-M that was strikingly lighter in color and more approacable.

June 30, 2012 - Popped and poured. Nose of red cherries, wood and iron. Dense on palate with a gritty texture. Plenty of red fruit but much more minerally than the 2009 we had next to it. Medium finish that needs time to round out.
