September 23, 2018 - Black Cherry with heavy iron underpinnings. Light to mid weight. Brickish color. Bright acids still, slightly sharp on the finish.
October 26, 2013 - Intense and incredibly tannic on the back. Its all there but this puppy needs time. And its been open for three hours.

April 1, 2013 - Slow-O 30 minutes, served non-blind. Vastly different than prior bottles, this was thin, slighly muted and the acids dominated the fruit. Nothing elegant (or tasty for that matter) with tonight's performance. 2/3 of the bottle went into the fridge tonight, will check on it tomorrow. 14,0% abv
March 23, 2013 - light, brick colour - very opaque - just not good. nose: full, sweet, comopte like - really boiled. taste: nice, quite high acidity - which we always welcome, tannins rather balanced; plums and blackberries. Finish short and very hot. Very modern RdM, with no finesse and elegancy. It could be anything but happened to be RdM unfortunetly. 85+
December 13, 2012 - Pleasant RdM with a nice nose. A bit light bodied for this producer (vintage issue?). Bit of shmutz. Drink now . 87-88 pts
July 21, 2012 - consistent with past bottles, this medium-bodied beauty has fresh, lingering fruit, generous and lively acids and works very well with food. If I were teaching a class, I would not hesitate to use this bottling as a textbook RdM example. Enjoyed over 2 nights, both equally enjoyable. 14,0% abv, drink thru 2015, recommended

January 22, 2012 - Another solid showing tonight. Fresh, with lively acids and moderate tannins. Easy drinking, more traditional than international. Cherry, pomegranate, herbs - 6 more months will have this early drinker showing in the best light possible. recommended $20-25, 14% abv, score: B+/A-
