Nice but slightly muted nose and palate. Was expecting more.

November 19, 2016 - Was decent as first - crisp, hints of Apple, but rapidly oxidized.

September 20, 2016 - ~6-7 of the 12 bottles I had were premoxed. 1-2 more were questionable. This last bottle is very good now, tasted with my Coravin, I will open the bottle soon to enjoy it. Good if a bit muted nose as always on this one, the palate is at its best now, with good balance of acidity, oak and fruit. 92.

August 31, 2016 - @Peter with T (Charlottenlund): Wonderful wine - and lovely to see it again,. and it has certainly survived the trip from the States; here is both body, a vibrant minerality, a solid fruit, complexity and length. No signs of aging, but the drinking window is open.
When Corton is good, it is out of this world. @Peter

April 8, 2016 - Note: I use a rating scale for which 85 represents a very good wine.

Unfortunately, not as enjoyable as the previous bottle 3.5 years ago. Even with some extended breathing (2 + hrs) not that full and rich. Maybe the "house style" is crisper and sharper than I prefer. Oh well, it's only money.

(Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne) Bright canary yellow color; almond, fresh macadamia nut, apple nose; tasty, oily textured, poised, youthful, stony, tart citrus, almond and mineral palate; medium-plus finish 93+ pts. (it's wonderful to taste a good sample like this, after having tasted such a badly oxidized bottle last year)

(Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne) White pepper and banana battle brown butter and Asian pear. On the palate, the wine is full of dense mushroom and earthy pear flavors.
