  August 18, 2020 - Drinks incredibly young. Very grippy and tight but evolves nicely with air. If you're able to hold for 5-10 years, this shows a lot of potential. If you're going to drink it now, give it at least 2 hrs in a decanter, preferably more.

  June 15, 2014 - Serious, grippy and young. Beautiful elegant aroma with cherry, tar, leather, a whole bouquet of flowers, cocoa, hints of forest floor.
  
  Palate is soft and already showing some secondary earthiness but the tannins are ripping and years from settling down. This is going to be a great wine...someday. HOLD

  December 1, 2012 - Dried flowers, some black tea, berries and leather on the nose. Palate is full-bodied, quite tannic but elegant an complex. Great length and depth and much more approachable to my opinion than the 2005
