    December 6, 2023 - From double magnum, ex-chateau.
An outstanding white Bordeaux with a complex nose of wax and lanolin, lovely and long. But still an infant with 10+ years ahead!

June 6, 2023 - First out of three. Bought in a French “hypermarché” about 20 years ago for around 50 eur. Good purchase this was singing! Richly nuanced with nuts and honey and freshness that keeps it all together

June 2, 2023 - 5th of 12, opened 30 minutes, perfect cork and level, lovely, nuanced and balanced, proper semillon/lanolin underpinning, well judged sauvignon bringing attractive fruit flavours and freshness, at early maturity, limited upside, 15+ years. VF (18.5).

May 6, 2023 - This opened beautifully with a fresh pale golden colour and a nose of white peach, gooseberry, quince and nettle then touches of honey and lanolin. The palate was pure and savoury with complex citrus and stone fruits balanced by lanolin, honey and hay characters of maturity. There is plenty of grip and authority leading into a persistent stony finish. A fine bottle of mature Graves.

December 25, 2022 - Christmas Day 2022 (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. aromas of honey, a little lanolin, gooseberry and green apple. Medium plus intensity acidity, slight textured rasp on the mid palate, green apple and gooseberry with a little honeyed underpin, balanced, long, still quite fresh, nice.
