May 9, 2015 - WSET Level 4 Course - WSET School; 9/6/2014-5/23/2015 (WSET School, Bermondsey): Appearance: The wine is Clear with a Medium garnet colour.
Nose: The nose is Clean and Developing, showing Medium intensity primary aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, strawberry, red cherry, red plum, secondary aromas of toast, smoke and tertiary aromas of mushroom, earth.
Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a High level of acidity. It has Medium Ripe/Soft tannins and a Medium Level of alcohol (13.00%). It has Medium body and Medium(+) intensity primary flavours of redcurrant, raspberry, strawberry, red cherry, red plum, secondary flavours of toast, smoke and tertiary flavours of mushroom, earth. The finish is Medium(+). It has ripe fruit character and ripe tannins.
Overall: Good complexity, good length, good balance between structural components
Conclusion: It is a Very Good quality wine. Can Drink Now but has Potential for Ageing ; Premium priced (£41.99) -

January 29, 2012 - Nose is primarily red fruit, floral with a tiny bit of earth. Medium bodied and smooth but finish is a bit short. Deteriorated a bit the second day.
