Community Tasting Notes 8

May 20, 2020 - From the vintage from hell. Medium-weight, good crispness and minerality, slight creaminess, slight ginger. Not the best this terroir can produce, but still, quite impressive. Can continue to age for years. Cellared since original release.

September 13, 2014 - Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Served blind to tasting group. Very ripe apple aromas and flavors that showed the 2003 character that made tasters struggle with whether this was New vs Old world Chardonnay. Good intensity to start, but just moderate length. Good acidity for the 2003 vintage. Drinking well now, should hold well for 5 more years if well stored.

December 31, 2012 - Seems to be at it's peak in evolution. Very nice weight, light yellow in color, brioche, yellow fruits but a bit short and lacking in complexity.

September 15, 2011 - Good, rich and ripe

December 20, 2009 - A typical deep, rich, mineral, slightly oaked Meursault. Ready to drink now.
