  December 20, 2014 - Smells like plum, cherry, rubber tire, pepper and a hint of barbecue potato chip. After a while, the dominant aroma is rubber tire with blue fruit. Tastes like a juicy plum, cut with some chocolate, chilli pepper, a bit of that rubber tire, blueberry and hazelnut. It sounds wacky and out of balance, but it works. The 2009 was much better, but this is well made wine.

  February 17, 2014 - Ski in Okanagan valley with Le Vieux Pin winemakers. (Osoyoos, BC, Canada): Blind tasting. Dark hue. An easy to guess Bordeaux blend, close to the left bank style. But the structure is lacking tannins, making this wine seductive for beginners and fast-wine drinkers. Some one would talk about elegance. I don't. Still, it is very well made, and really appreciable. It does teach me a lot of what this Okanagan Valley can reach. Interesting expression of Cabernet.
