September 7, 2023 - Well balanced wine with lovely dark cherry and berry notes. Integrated tannins, good acid balance. I chose this wine because the last tasting note had mentioned its marriage with swordfish. That worked really well, thank you!
May 26, 2023 - The color has faded a bit to a brick hue; body in the glass is still quite good. Lovely light Margaux which has definitely plateaued but is not in decline. Perfect for chicken or swordfish, but not as intense as you'd want for red meat.
December 30, 2020 - Juicy. Rich floral aroma, full and balanced on the palate with a moderate finish. Perfect for current drinking, should hold up just fine for five years in cellar.
December 20, 2020 - Surprisingly fruity on the pallette. Has aged well. Definitely ready to drink. Less sediment than last bottle. Very smooth with a clean finish.
May 31, 2020 - Very pleasant ... earthy with solid tannins. Didn’t decant, but will on the entire bottle.
October 3, 2015 - This is just a really nice wine. It is improving with age, but there is no need to wait. Soft texture, smooth and medium finish, nice on the nose. Not spectacular, but really solid. I wish I would have a bought a few more.
August 20, 2015 - Super enjoyable wine, like a bridge between new world and Bordeaux. It has the earth, oak, cedar, light graphite, but very lush pronounced black fruit, and soft tannin. The most amazing thing, they actually put on the back label , save for 3-4 years! Unbelievable, a Margaux producer , actually telling you, we produced this for new world taste, don't age for long. It's delightful now , at 6 years though.
June 6, 2013 - A little disappointing for the price. Just a decent bordeaux
October 5, 2012 - This has gorgeous bouquet of beautiful fresh blackberries, cassis, graphite and pain grille, backed by subtle notes of smoke and tobacco. Soft and elegant on the palate and it stays that way all the way through the finish. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. (Best 2013-2020)
