    February 6, 2015 - A solid, tasty Italian red. Opened up a bit as the night progressed with some decent tannins. Went very well with chicken parm and pasta. The food helped bring out some of the richness in the wine and cut some of its acidity.

    October 13, 2011 - Sour cherry and earth notes with firm tannins and good acid balance. Good value for the money, but nothing special.

    December 14, 2010 - I was curious about this wine because of the rave reviews some of you fellow CellarTracker/GrapeStories wine wnthusiast were giving for previous vintages. Things like "this is what a Rosso should be"...

    I have to say: I didn't like it at all. In fact, this was one of the worst wines I ever had from the Montalcino area. It is thin and sour and I can't even find any other words or any that could describe it better: thin and sour.

    Not recommended.

    I have a second bottle that I will revisit in the next 1-2 years. Maybe this bottle was flawed, who knows.
