  May 4, 2023 - Wine was great, full body, 14% abv, smooth tannins, lots of fruit, great balance, structure with complex flavors, experts said I kept the wine too long it tasted fresh and exciting, drank with rack of lamb, it was 5 years since we drank this wine and it really improved, how do the critics predict the life of a wine? Great value, on to the next vintage.

  November 6, 2022 - Sehr dichtes, im Kern fast schwarzes, Bordeauxrot.
  Die Nase ist explosiv nach Johannisbeere, Lakritze, Pfeffer.
  Am Gaumen tolle, elegante Balance. Im Moment noch alles etwas überdrüber aber sehr ausgeglichen. Druckvolle, schwarze Frucht, tragende Säure und forsche aber sehr elegante/feinmaschige Tannine.
  Tolle Länge, hält sehr lange an.
  Ein grossartiger Bordeaux, der den reifen Charakter des Jahrgangs zwar gut interpretiert aber Eleganz und Frische behalten hat! Toll, und das zu diesem Preis!

  June 28, 2020 - Very similar notes to the last bottle three years ago.
  Still very dark. Takes a t least one hour of aeration.
  Has further changed from the primary fruit stage to a stage where some drying Tannins become more obviously. Made in a modern style with dark fruits, fullbodied and a upcoming adstringency. The last point might become a problem for drinkability (balance) with further aging.
  But it seems to have gained some more weight and definitely more complexity nevertheless.
  Just lacking some acid to merit a higher score.
  Will keep in good shape at least for another decade.
