September 2, 2014 - Consumed over 2 days. Day 1 - beautiful nose but the finish was short and very hot. Day 2 - the fruit and alcohol are more in balance with some secondary notes showing.

August 29, 2014 - Silky smooth and great balance. This has to have Syrah, I tasted blind and immediately smelled meat and bacon grease. Tasted like a cayuse Syrah, but it's still good as a wine but not great if you want a traditional Pinot.
August 16, 2014 - Great nose of cherries and bright citrus. The palate is full and mouthcoating with ripe cherries, some green notes in a good way and a little oak. Young and tight but really good

August 15, 2014 - Hate to do this, but this wine was somewhat painful to drink over 2 days. Unbalanced, alcoholic and oaky. Big fruit with some nice nuance and flavors, but overall not very enjoyable. I was at a loss and almost poured it out save the $80 price tag guilt thinking it would improve. Have 2 left and hope this was an off bottle.

June 15, 2014 - I found this too sweet and cloying for my liking.
