Community Tasting Notes 2

October 3, 2012 - Still needs a decant for at least an hour. Prior to that its very tannic and not too good. The nose was earth, tar, black and a hint of red fruits with touch of volatile acidity and maybe some cinnamon or mint . The taste was very mellow, with tart red fruits, some blue fruits, drying tannins. Smooth mouthfeel, nice finish with some drying tannins.

April 30, 2010 - Truly a wonderful wine. Soft on the palate, robust in flavor and concentration. Hints of almond, wood, forrest floor, and portabello. Deep and dark while being alive with perfume and fruit flavors. A wonderful wine for the price.
