February 4, 2017 - Very Northern Rhonish in all the good ways. Lighter bodied than the 04 Majik Vineyard we had recently. Very mild funk on the nose with tar, roast ham and garrique. Great now but drink, don't hold.1 person found this helpful Comments (1)

August 16, 2016 - Not my favorite. Volatile acidity. Past prime by a few years. Meaty. Decent but other '04s are better.

August 16, 2016 - Nice meaty ripe cherry fruit with excellent balance and mature flavors. Interesting to compare it to the Donelan Kobler 2012. I appreciate the mature flavors but prefer the younger fruit and spiciness.
July 2, 2016 - Exceeded expectations. A really balanced if not leading to old world style wine for Pax. Really good length and presence to this wine. Good amount of fruit but equalled if not exceeded by secondary flavors and really good texture/mouthfeel to this wine.

May 24, 2016 - An interesting Pax -- more old world on the palate than others. Very aromatic/vibrant nose, this does not belie the age. Juicy and dried fruit on the palate, with earthiness. fine sediment and smooth dusty tannins. Tasty.
