April 29, 2016 - Very smooth and paired well with pulled pork BBQ.

March 1, 2016 - Clear, deep intensity, ruby color.

Dark and almost inky nose with a medium(+) intensity. Really heavy on the fruit - black plum, cassis, blackberry sauce, dark cherry, cedar, cigar, warm soil, spice box, oak and a hint of vanilla.

Full bodied with smooth, medium(+) tannins and medium acidity. Medium(+) intensity with almost sweet black fruit, leather, oak and vanilla.

Well-crafted but all this fruit makes the wine uninteresting and a bit one-dimensional. Sure, the quality is really high but it doesn't get me excited. Still on the young side and will benefit from further aging.

January 23, 2016 - First of the lot of these 375ml. Had planned to drink it a year or so ago but these small bottles were hiding in a corner. Paired nicely with baked salmon.

October 13, 2015 - Decanted an hour in advance. There was a lot of sediment to leave behind. Dark and purple in appearance; an intriguing nose; very blackcurranty, velvety, with good length; powerful and complex. Seems ready to drink now. Very good.

June 27, 2015 - Wanted to try even though it is definitely too young for a St Henri. Decanted for half a day. Crimson purple in colour with lots of dark berries but well balanced with dark chocolate and licorice and vanilla oak aromas. The palate's exactly the same as the nose with nice silky lingering tanins and some spice in the end. Long after taste and have potential to further evolve and develop. Extremely happy with the bottle given the young age
