April 5, 2012 - Love the strawberry on the nose, dry with just a touch of sweetness. Very nice springtime wine.

March 7, 2011 - Color: Dark pink, deep color. Nose: Strawberry rhubarb. Give me some ice cream! Taste: Delicious strawberry, watermelon, rhubarb, good viscosity and acidity balance the hint of sweetness. This is serious rose. Great stuff.

August 14, 2010 - Buy again. Almost as good as Mas Des Brassades. A little fruitier. Nice balance.

June 13, 2010 - This has typically been a springtime favourite but the Tavel misses the mark this year. It is darker and fruitier than in prior years and, although not a sweet rose, it is slightly sweeter than the last several years' vintages. It's almost like someone took over the winery or the winemaker has changed and now there is nothing to celebrate.
