March 7, 2015 - Well structured, medium to full bodied. Black fruits, good balance with tannins nicely exposed. Rather traditional in style. Perfect time now for drinking this bottle.
July 28, 2014 - Not much in the nose. Dark cherry in the mid palate. Finish was whoa - a lot of acid. Typical strong Sangiovese finish. This is a food wine!
March 27, 2013 - This was a nice wine that was enjoyed with veal osso bucco this was an ok pairing with this meal but the finish was a little bit harsh for this meal. I will be trying to find a better pairing for this meal in the future.

December 30, 2012 - Rather light and earthy with some moments of light raisen.
March 30, 2012 - Spicy leather on the nose with a hint of menthol. Sour cherries with a medium finish.
January 23, 2012 - Leather nose with good depth; noticable acidity; some heat; licorice and cherry with semi-sweet tannins; decent balance and finish.
