July 31, 2023 - Drank over two nights. A good value Pessac…not terribly complex but has aged well. Last bottle bought on release. Great property next to Smith-Haut-Laffite.

May 11, 2022 - I’m quite impressed with this very affordable Bordeaux.
I purchased a half case on futures way back when , and this is my first go.
Just put a roast in the oven so I didn’t decant the bottle but just poured a small amount to sample while dinner comes together. This gives off some heat along with the blue and red fruit on the nose.
I’m getting some soft tannins along with the fruit forward palate.
Modern Bordeaux that pleases me tonight.

December 26, 2021 - This wine was more fruity and charming earlier in its life. Too much smoke, graphite, garrigue, and earthy character right now. Given that substantial tannins remain yet, I'm hoping that the wine evolves further and the fruit reappears. NR

July 18, 2021 - An update from my review from 2018. Still fresh and tart. But less tart now. Ready to drink when opened. Was afraid it would fall apart quickly. But after 2 hours its holding up nicely and didn't change much. So it should should be good for at at least a 2 years. Great value.
