September 29, 2020 - still the palest yellow but the fruit is indeed receding and the wine needs drinking - a little out of balance now but still lovely

October 13, 2018 - Tasted from bottle. Lemon nose, big and rich, possibly even fat, on the pallet with distinct honeysuckle and the beginnings of maderisation. Drink up.

June 7, 2017 - From Magnum. Very good condition, true to its origin and winemaker style. Loads of concentration, the style is very powerfull with richness from extraction and ripeness. The nose is broad with some complexity, somewhat lacking drive and precision. same on the palate, very well made, the texture and phenolic make up for the lack of acidity and freshness. The finish is slightly bitter.

July 2, 2016 - Pale gold. Appetising beurre noisette nose. Lighly saline palate with white peach and hazelnuts. Lemon finish. Still drinking well, but on the decline.

[Drunk with sandwiches on boat off Singapore. Poured from cooled bottle in high heat and humidity.]

July 2, 2016 - Straw coloured. Unremarkable but perfectly decent. Honeysuckle and hazelnuts with a sort of aloe vera aftertaste. Good for a while I would guess.

March 15, 2016 - simply outstanding - a very pale yellow - fresh, lemon and light with incredible depth and length - no rush

October 23, 2014 - Comte Georges de Vogüe and Domaine Bonneau du Martray tasted with Jean-Luc Pépin: Rich, decadent nose, decaying fruit, bitter almond, exotic fruits, white lily. Rich, heady, exotic. More obvious acidity than the ’07, not as perfectly balanced, less minerals, less integrated. But excellent length. Very nice. Drink now.
